Amsterdam's most fearlessly imaginative designer brought London Fashion Week to a standstill with Roam, an AW26 collection that dared to ask what haute fashion looks like when filtered through the lens of a childhood obsession. In partnership with Difuzed, JimmyPaul constructed ten distinct worlds drawn from the Pokémon universe each translated into sculptural silhouettes, tactile textures, and electric colour palettes that felt as wearable as they did wonderous.

In partnership with Difuzed, JimmyPaul constructed ten distinct worlds drawn from the Pokémon universe, embedding character references not through graphic reproduction but through silhouette, fabrication, and proportion. With Pikachu appearing in electric yellow faux fur, metallic lilac, acid brights, and slick vinyl that felt as futuristic as it did playful. Beyond Pokémon, Roam drew from a vast well of cultural inspiration Indonesian heritage, Japanese workwear, 90s surf culture, car racing, 80s postmodernism, and horror cinema all realised through deadstock fabrics, vintage materials, and reworked textiles from previous collections.

JimmyPaul, whose personal connection to the franchise gave the collection an emotional authenticity that resonated far beyond the runway.
