PRIMAL INSTINCT

JM.STUDIO

Karina Bond presented her Spring/Summer 2025 collection,

Primal Instinct, at London Fashion Week in September 2024.

The collection drew on primal instincts that link humanity to the natural world, exploring the shared subconscious and animalistic behaviours that unite all living beings.

Textures ranged from faux alligator skin to delicate 3D-printed jellyfish tentacles, with hand-painted details and smocked faux leather. The palette leaned earthy, with unexpected pairings like lime green, turquoise and magenta, and transparent fabrics set against heavily embellished textiles. Bond worked with milliner Virna Pasquinelli, jewellery designer Ivy Jiang, nail artist Megan of Brixton Claws and stylist Borna Prikaski, her first time collaborating with a stylist.
